OIL, LUBE AND FILTER SERVICE

Your vehicle's engine runs at high RPM (Rotations Per Minute). That kind of motion generates a lot of friction as well as a lot of heat. Quality motor oil reduces friction, which reduces heat. We use premium quality warranty-approved , premium oil products.

But even the best motor oil starts to break down after a while. And that can result in serious engine damage. Which is as expensive as it sounds. So remember to change your oil and filter every three months or 3000 miles. Parkway Car Care can do it for you while-you-wait. What you should know about Oil Changes!

The recommended maintenance interval for oil, lube and filter service is every 3,000 miles or as required.

  • Don't wait for warning signs to appear. Prevent trouble before it begins by taking your vehicle to Parkway Car Care on the recommended regularly scheduled basis.

COOLING SYSTEM SERVICE

Engines today run much hotter than just a few years ago, placing additional strain on your car's cooling system and its parts. So it's important to take care of your cooling system on a regular basis. After all, a new radiator can cost over $400!

Your car relies on more than just water to keep from overheating. It uses a mixture of water and antifreeze fluid, also known as coolant, that contains an anti-rust agent to minimize corrosion. This anti-rust agent is never 100% successful, so you need to remove and replace your rust laden antifreeze every two years, or as recommended in your service manual.

The most commonly used antifreeze, which is green, should be replaced every two years. Newer, orange antifreeze need only be replaced every five years. Parkway Car Care can determine which you have with a simple inspection.

Parkway Car Care's flush and fill service includes power flushing the entire cooling system using a specially formulated Radiator Flush, pressure testing the entire system, and replacing the old coolant with new antifreeze at the recommended blend.

Radiator caps and hoses also break down over time, and since they're crucial to the operation of your vehicle, have Parkway Car Care inspect them regularly. The same goes for your water pump drive belt, alternator and air conditioning compressor.

Parkway Car Care stocks a wide selection of  Quality belts and hoses. What you should know about your Cooling System!
